14:00 - Liverpool City Center
The first location we went to was Liverpool city centre, we searched for well lit locations that weren't really crowded because of noise pollution and people walking through the shots but had a steady flow of people to get fox pops. The location we found was outside St Johns shopping centre, which had a steady flow of people, room to set up the equipment without getting in the way as well as a quieter atmosphere which aided Ant in sound recording.
15:00 - Liverpool Docks

This was a prime location for us. The landscape is wonderful and aesthetically pleasing. This was perfect for interviews due to the quiet nature of the docks, as well as the many wandering contributors that were more likely to stop and talk to us. It was also ideal for cutaways because of all of the interesting features such as the boats and cruise liners as well as the skyline.
16:00 - Bond Street
To begin with our idea only consisted of fox pops in the street, making our documentary very unreliable. But after a tutorial with the tutors, the suggestions of using shops as well became very appealing. So at the end of the day we decided to investigate some shops and try get permission to interview the owners. This was successful as we managed to get permission off four shop owners with several contributors in one shop, making it more varied and easily accessible.
