These are some screen grabs from the first session of editing that I carried out on the sound. After our sound skills seminar I felt confident in using Soundtrack Pro because it was very similar to working with a normal editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro. During this section of editing I manged to complete the atmos track as well as adding in various sounds that occur during the piece to keep the audience on edge, leading them to thinking that there is something in the abandoned apocalyptic city. Using techniques from the seminars I managed to neatly arrange all of the sounds so it was easy to navigate around them as well as labeling each track to help establish each sound. I found the editing of the sound extremely interesting and come up with more ideas during it. As I was playing around with the effects I thought about how we could have a presence, one that could connote a survivor or a creature, even the creator of the mayhem. I have no took to researching what I could do with the effects I used such as spectral gate.
